The V3MS Tuning Cable allows both the Dash7 and a PC to communicate with the VEMS ECU at the same time.
This is particularly useful during ECU tuning sessions, as it enables the Dash7 to remain fully operational and continue providing alarms and warning notifications while tuning is in progress.
The tuning cable is not required for normal Dash7 use and is intended primarily for tuning and diagnostics.
After tuning is finished, the cable should be removed and the Dash7 connected directly to the VEMS ECU for normal operation.
