Buttons for V3MS Dash7 Gen2

Dash7 can work and display data even without buttons connected. However, the control buttons must be connected to the Dash7 for switching screens, navigating in the menu and setting all necessary parameters.

When ordering, you can choose from the following design options:

• Buttons on the PCB: This option offers the best way to integrate the buttons into the original dashboard panel in the car. No soldering is required. The buttons are mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB), from which protrudes about 1m long cable with crimped pins. All you have to do is choose the place on the instrument panel where the holes for buttons and screws will be drilled. Then drill the holes and use screws to mount the PCB in to the panel. Then just plug pins into the Dash7 connector. Suitable for average technically skilled users.
• Buttons in a plastic box: This option offers the easiest installation. The delivery includes a small plastic case (box) with fitted buttons and about 1 m long cable with crimped pins. All you have to do is find a best place in the interior and glue or screw the box on that place. Then just plug the pins into the Dash7 connector. Suitable for all users.

All buttons are switched to GND (pin6) according to pinout (wire colors can be different than on the picture)

Buttons can be mounted rotated in any direction. Central "OK" button is removable and can be inserted in any direction. Proper button's orientation can be then set in the menu "Display" of the Dash7 digital dashboard.
